ALA oversaw The Wing’s rollout to the West Coast in 2018, with the opening of an 8,000-square-foot branch of the all-woman coworking network in San Francisco. Occupying the second floor of Standard Oil’s former headquarters, ALA transformed a physical icon of hegemonic capitalism into a versatile and empowering venue for female entrepreneurship and community organizing.
