The MG Studio serves as the complimentary offices and showroom event space for the automotive services company, Midway Group, and it is in the heart of Downtown LA, adjacent to Staples Center.
We had the opportunity to renovate it in 2015, adding clarity to the existing open and flexible floor-plan by designing around its exhibit-type showrooms that are bisected by a center mezzanine. We polished the concrete floors, painted race car symbols over the finish, added a brick wall that gives the space a fitting street look, added proper racing-mood lighting, created a wooden bow-truss ceiling and a full kitchen to meet Midway Group's needs.
