Corporate Office Interior Design Idea | GUATEMALA.COM OFFICES | Guatemala City | ACA

A collaborative workspace invaded by three main elements: concrete, solid colors, and lots of natural light.
Concrete plays an important role in shaping the envelope of the place, the vibrant and solid colors become the main occupants of the space, and the large windows give us a constant bath of light and energy.
Another important element that is present is the white on the walls, which in addition to being the color of balance, acts as a canvas to display works of art by new artists in the country......more

Corporate Office Interior Design | Giant Pixel | San Francisco | O+A

Giant Pixel in San Francisco is a software developer occupying three floors near the City’s Mint Plaza, an area known for creative redevelopment and modernity drawn from vintage architecture. With a busy Blue Bottle Coffee shop as neighbor and stylish restaurants just minutes away, Giant Pixel wanted a casual urban look in keeping with its neighborhood. Our design challenge was to fit a variety of distinct work areas into three small footprints—and to do so with both beauty and economy.

A laser-cut blackened steel canopy at the entrance to the office begins the exercise with computer code patterns that create a striking visual matrix and divide the front into reception and waiting areas. The custom-fabricated concrete reception desk eschews traditional forms and substitutes a sweeping sculptural elegance offset by the wit of a desk-lamp chandelier. In the basement a lounge and bar provide a cozy in-house retreat for Giant Pixel’s staff and visitors.

Upstairs a suspended fireplace and chimney create another arresting focal point evolving into mid-area workstations, a conference room, private break cabanas and finally a coffee counter at the back. Each area is spatially discreet, but each informs the other through proximity, light—and in the case of the fireplace: warmth. Throughout Giant Pixel’s office one design thought prevails: that small spaces may acquire richness through an abundance of uses and careful orchestration of detail......more

Corporate Office Interior Design | Airport Regional Head Office | "Lighthouse", Moscow, Russia | VOX Architects

For a company that provides administrative management for terminals of several regional airports, the architects have chosen the space in a modern office building in the center of Moscow. Architects decided to form moderate, and in the same time expressive, interiors. The customer fully relied on the professional competence of the team granted the freedom to create. The only constraints were conditioned by the working style of this particular office – the office is not meant to be often attended by visitors, and by the company’s activities: complex financial and technical development of airport facilities. As most employees are concentrating on individual work, the office has practically no open space, but a number of comfortable individual cabinets and meeting rooms. The interiors clearly translate an image of a metallic airplane wing, hovering in the greyish-blue sky.

As the office is situated in a reconstructed printing-house, in the very center of it there are still left bracing V-shaped beams. One of those is transformed into a white abstract form, and the other, in a symbolic fin of an airplane.

The colors of the interiors are cold, but due to multi-level lightning it really feels cozy inside. These comforting feelings are enhanced by ash wood used in the decoration of floors and cabinets, wooden wall panels. ........more

Corporate Office Interior Design | Ogilvy Group | London | Henley Halebrown Rorrison Architects

At 5,300sqm the pair of football pitch-sized floor plates in Canary Wharf required a dynamic solution which was able to address problems with navigation as well as overcoming some of the deepest plans in Europe.

Having moved from Central London 10 years earlier, Ogilvy & Mather's current layout had developed in an ad-hoc manner resulting in highly segregated departments linked by unintelligible circulation, leaving staff inclined to stay near their desk rather than venture into 'alien' territory.....more

Corporate Interior Design | JanSport Corporate Headquarters | San Leandro | California | Rapt Studio

Relocating from their Wisconsin home to the bay area, JanSport wished to retain a meaningful connection to their “rural” roots while supporting an aggressive expansion of their product offerings and a re-energizing of their corporate image. Rapt Studio’s task? To deliver a project that inspired its inhabitants, that reenergized the brand, and that came in within a tight budget and tighter schedule. The Rapt design team utilized a strategy guided by sustainable practices—a minimum of materials were actually brought onto the site and as much of the existing building was reused and exploited in order to accomplish the final result. This strategy included the polishing of existing concrete flooring wherever possible, the installation of ceilings only in areas with acoustic concerns, the utilization of salvaged wood products for the development of high-touch public spaces and the reuse of existing office construction wherever possible........more

Corporate Interior Design | Moody's Corporation | New York | SHCA

At 800,000 sq ft (74,320 sq m), Moody's Corporation's new headquarters at 7 World Trade Center demonstrates the company's commitment to its clientele and Downtown Manhattan. As space and infrastructure demands strained its existing facility, the company made a bold decision to leave its mid-century, mid-rise home for a nearby shimmering glass tower. SHCA's challenge was to create an environment evoking discretion and a sense of history within a new glass box. Responding to Moody's need for numerous private offices and flexibility for growth, designers developed a 'menu' of modular elements, including interior office and workstation clusters, with both fixed and pliable zones. Analysts' offices hug the perimeter wall, ensuring privacy, while their fritted glass interior walls allow natural light to penetrate the larger work area. An elliptical dining area offers respite from the ordered geometry of typical floors and the conference center communicates Moody's history and global presence. A golden bas-relief panel, a reproduction of the sculpture that graced the company's former main entrance, greets visitors to the conference center. Such reminders of the company's past can be found throughout the new space, conveying stability during the transition.........more

Office Interior Design | Ogilvy | Culver City | California | Shubin + Donaldson Architects

The new offices are located in a former light industrial area that was recently redeveloped as a technology and arts district by Samitaur Constructs. The existing building was designed by Eric Owen Moss. The program for the new office space is intended to communicate a commitment to cutting-edge work and feature the latest communication technology, including a complete internal post-production facility. The design team was asked to build an open-plan work space to house a staff of more than 110 people.

Ogilvy is a brand-name advertising agency and a leader worldwide. The company’s executives were looking to reinvent themselves with leading-edge design of new offices in Los Angeles. The large open-plan of this decidedly industrial space has been used as an advantage in the design program. Structural wood beams and large, plate-glass windows around the perimeter walls lend character and provide natural light throughout the office. Behind a front-facing, angled plate-glass wall, a perforated-metal tunnel known as “The Tube” dominates the entrance to the offices and is intended to serve as a gallery entry path to the rest of the building......more
